How To Decorate Cake?

2. Now how to fill the piping bag correctly is a tricky part. Take the piping bag, reusable or disposable, and carefully cut off one edge of the bag. The cut should be enough to fit the piping tip through, but not big enough to let it slide out of the bag. Put the tip inside the bag bringing it to the cut-off edge. Place the bag in a tall glass, folding the excess bag outwards and filling it with frosting. And now push the frosting towards the tip and twist the bag up.

3. To stack the layers of cakes it is important to ensure that the layers are even. For this, you can either bake separate layers of cake or cut your cake into even slices with a serrated knife

4. Don’t forget to chill the cake for almost 30-40minutes in the freezer to make the frostings stick to the cake.  On hot cake the decorations would simply slide off

5. Using your off-set spatula, spread out a thin layer of frosting on all the outer surfaces of the cake to give an even base for your decorations to settle on.
