Ingredients:

  • 200g GCB Milk Compound Chocolate
  • 150g unsalted butter
  • 200g granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 100g all-purpose flour
  • 25g cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: 100g chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a square baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the GCB Milk Compound Chocolate and unsalted butter together. Heat in short intervals, stirring each time until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  3. In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until creamy and well incorporated.
  4. Slowly pour the melted chocolate mixture into the sugar and egg mixture, stirring continuously.
  5. Sift the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt into the bowl with the chocolate mixture. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Be careful not to overmix.
  6. If desired, fold in the chopped nuts to add an extra crunch and flavor to your brownies.
  7. Carefully transfer the brownie batter into the lined baking pan. Spread it smoothly and evenly.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 25-30 minutes or until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Remember, fudgy brownies should not be overbaked.
  9. After baking, take the brownies out of the oven and allow them to cool entirely in the pan before cutting into them.
  10. Serve the fudgy brownies as is or dust them with powdered sugar for an elegant touch. Enjoy!

Tips:

  • To achieve the perfect fudgy texture, avoid overmixing the batter. Mix only until the dry ingredients are gently combined with the wet ingredients.
  • Experiment with different add-ins like chocolate chips, caramel swirls, or dried fruit to personalize your brownies.
  • Store any leftover brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days for optimal freshness.
